Preserving Spokane’s Neon History, One Sign at a Time

We’re on a mission to save Spokane’s neon—rescuing iconic signs, restoring their glow, and keeping their stories alive for the next generation.

About Us

The Spokane Neon Museum is dedicated to preserving, interpreting, and celebrating the neon signs that shaped Spokane and the Inland Northwest. From diners and motels to neighborhood favorites, these electric icons deserve to shine again.

Founded by local artist Chris Bovey, spreadsheet sorcerer Liz Bovey, and strategist Mitsy Hunter, the museum is powered by community passion, creative grit, and a love for Spokane’s history.

We’re just getting started—but with your help, we’re building toward a permanent home for neon preservation, education, and year-round public access.
